The 63rd Mechanized Brigade of Ukraine recently demonstrated the combat capabilities of a kamikaze ground drone. The brigade’s press service shared a video on social media showcasing the drone’s attack on Russian positions. The movement and use of the drone were monitored by another military drone from the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The video shows Russian soldiers in trenches being targeted by the Ukrainian drone, which stops over an infantry shelter and explodes, destroying part of the fortifications used by the Russian invaders. The 63rd Brigade emphasized their commitment to developing new technologies to effectively destroy the enemy.
Previously, the same brigade showcased the use of a ground drone for remote mining, where anti-tank mines were unloaded near Russian positions, later causing detonation. Furthermore, an Ukrainian Ratel S ground kamikaze drone was deployed to blow up a bridge in the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region to disrupt the logistics of Russian invaders in the Bakhmut sector. Developed by members of the Brave1 cluster, Ratel S is a ground drone used by the military to carry anti-tank mines and fulfill various other tasks.
