The Hetman Ivan Mazepa (F-211) corvette, currently under construction for the Ukrainian Navy in Turkey, is undergoing sea acceptance tests. During these tests, the ship’s crew, shipbuilding company, and contractors are checking the operation of all the corvette’s systems, including equipment performance in different modes and loads. Final acceptance of the ship will be conducted during state trials after completing factory trials.

As of early June, the corvette was reported to be 70% complete and being built ahead of schedule according to the ship’s captain, Volodymyr Uglinskyi. The corvette has already been armed with a 76-millimeter naval artillery system and a marine version of a Turkish anti-aircraft gun.
