Soldiers of the UAV Strike Battalion “Achilles” of the 92nd Assault Brigade “Ivan Sirko” successfully repelled an enemy attempt to attack the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The attack took place on the Lyptsi-Hlyboke sector. The Russian soldiers in an armored vehicle attempted to assault the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The attack was disorganized and lacked proper cover of heavy armored vehicles and engineering intelligence. The enemy was attacked using all available means, including FPV drones and artillery. The defenders managed to destroy all four armored transporters involved in the attack. Due to the large number of lost armored personnel carriers and BMP, the enemy is redesigning the landing section of the vehicles to increase the airborne compartment capacity for assault operations. The Ukrainian Defense Forces had previously hit a Russian IFV that was converted into an APC. The gun turret was removed from the vehicle to increase the height of the sides and the inclusion of view slits.
