Lviv University students’ NGO “Young Diplomacy Center” has donated 11 FPV drones to the Donetsk Border Guard Detachment, which is performing combat missions in eastern Ukraine. The students raised UAH 235,000 to purchase the drones for the military. This contribution demonstrates the students’ involvement in the war against Russia. Previously, Vinnytsia also donated 2000 FPV drones to the Defense Forces. The Ukrainian military needs a large number of drones to effectively destroy enemy equipment and fortifications.

The FPV drones allow the military to hit enemy targets at long distances, and those with a powerful warhead can effectively hit heavy armored vehicles. Videos and photos from May-April show at least nine destroyed Russian army installations, with the main means of destruction being FPV strike drones carrying a powerful explosive charge.
