الحوثيون يهاجمون ناقلتي نفط في البحر الأحمر، دون تسجيل إصابات أو أضرار

The Yemeni Houthis have attacked two tankers in the Red Sea, one of which was carrying oil from Russia to China. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported on the incident. The first tanker, MT Bentley I, which was flagged in Panama and operated by Monaco, was attacked by the Houthis. The attack involved three surface vessels, including an uncrewed surface vessel (USV) and two small boats. Subsequently, the Houthis launched an anti-ship ballistic missile from a Houthi-controlled area in Yemen towards MT Bentley I. CENTCOM stated that no injuries or damages have been reported from the attack.
In a separate incident, the Houthis also attacked the MT Chios Lion, a crude oil tanker flagged in Liberia and owned by the Marshall Islands. The tanker was operated by a Greek company. The Houthis damaged the vessel using a USV in the Red Sea. However, MT Chios Lion has not requested assistance, and no injuries have been reported. In a previous attack in June, the Houthis targeted a Ukrainian-Polish ship in the Red Sea using Iranian-Chinese anti-ship missiles. One crew member was seriously wounded in the attack and was evacuated on a US Navy missile cruiser. As a response to these attacks, the United States and other countries’ navies are currently providing escort services to civilian vessels to protect them from missile attacks by the Iranian-backed Houthis.
