تحديث جديد: طائرات الاستطلاع بالطيارات بدون طيار Vector في أوكرانيا مجهزة الآن بمستشعرات الذكاء الاصطناعي

Ukraine’s Vector reconnaissance drones are now equipped with artificial intelligence sensors, according to German company Quantum-Systems, the manufacturer of these UAVs. The updated AI Receptor sensor, based on Nvidia’s Jetson Orin chip and several sensors, enhances optical navigation, automatic object detection, and identification. The new update enables the drones to operate day and night and in low visibility conditions, as well as perform automated object recognition and identification using artificial intelligence.
Quantum-Systems is currently testing and developing the module at their newly opened development site in Ukraine. The Receptor AI module allows for autonomous flight at night and in bad weather, thanks to infrared visual navigation. It also improves object detection, classification, identification, and tracking. According to Daniel Kneifel, Director of Software Development at Quantum-Systems, the upgrade does not affect the weight or range of the drones. The Vector drones have been in operation in Ukraine since May 2022, funded by the German government.
