الجيش الأوكراني يوقع صفقات رئيسية لتوريد طائرات بدون طيار ومقاتلات أرضية مع شركات محلية
The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has signed major deals with Ukrainian manufacturers to supply ground-based kamikaze drones and ammunition. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The signing took place after the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, attended by Deputy Defense Minister Dmytro Klimenkov. The aim of these deals is to provide the military with unmanned aerial vehicles and ground-based kamikaze drones as part of the country’s defense strategy against the enemy. Additionally, an agreement for the production of ammunition was also signed. The Director of the Defense Procurement Agency, Maryna Bezrukova, mentioned that agreements worth over UAH 3.7 billion were signed during this visit. This step reinforces the Ministry of Defense’s commitment to introducing the latest technologies and supporting the national industry.
It was previously reported that Ukrainian companies contribute significantly to logistics and weapons procurement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They provide over 80 percent of logistics procurement and 70 percent of weapons procurement. To further facilitate the defense procurement process, the PartnerMOD website was launched, which guides manufacturers and suppliers on the necessary documents and technical requirements for their products. The website also allows users to ask questions and receive quick answers. In July, two agreements worth almost UAH 5 billion were signed with domestic defense companies. This continued procurement from Ukrainian manufacturers illustrates the ministry’s ongoing support to the national industry.
