إطلاق سفينة حربية أوكرانية من طراز ADA-class الثانية في تركيا

The Ukrainian Navy’s second Turkish-built ADA-class corvette Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi (F-212) was launched today at the RMK Marine shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey. The ship’s launching ceremony was attended by First Lady Olena Zelenska, Minister of Defense Rustem Umierov, Navy Commander Oleksii Neizhpapa, and CEO of Baykar Haluk Bayraktar. The event was reported by Clash Report, which published photos from the ceremony. The corvette, named in March 2024, had its laying down ceremony last August. The construction of the vessel is being carried out according to schedule, and it is expected to be completed entirely in Turkey due to the ongoing Russian invasion in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Ada-class corvettes, including the Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi, are armed with a Super Rapid 76-millimeter naval gun from Italian company OTO Melara. The ship also features a Turkish Korkut 35mm anti-aircraft gun from Aselsan, STAMP 12.7mm remote-controlled weapon stations, Thales Sting EO MK2 naval fire control and tracking systems, Aselsan satellite communications systems, ARES-2N electronic warfare systems, and Mk 36 SRBOC decoy launching systems. Navigation and air target detection radars are also installed on board. The newest Ukrainian corvette Hetman Ivan Mazepa (F-211) recently left the RMK Marine shipyard for its first sea trials.
