The so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, stated that the air defense system had been working in the city. The Russian invaders alleged that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had attacked the temporarily occupied peninsula with ATACMS ballistic missiles. Two streets in Sevastopol were closed to collect explosive items. The occupation administration also decided to evacuate residents of a building to remove a part of the missile that had allegedly pierced the roof and got embedded on a mechanical floor. It is worth noting that on July 30, over 50,000 households in occupied Crimea experienced a power outage due to a fire at power facilities.
