رئيس أوكرانيا يعلن زيادة تمويل برنامج الصواريخ الوطني عقب اجتماع القيادة العسكرية
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced increased funding for the country’s missile program, aiming to boost the production of Ukrainian-made missiles. The decision was made following a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The Minister of Defense, the Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, and the Minister for Strategic Industries outlined the current needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the progress of drone and missile production by the Ukrainian defense industry. Zelensky expressed satisfaction with the allocation of additional funding, stating that it will lead to an increase in the production of Ukrainian missiles.
In related news, Ukraine’s military has been actively using modified Neptune cruise missiles for ground strikes. These missiles were confirmed to have hit various targets, including an oil terminal in Krasnodar Krai, the Saky military air base, and the S-400 battery in Crimea. It is speculated that Ukraine’s defense industry is working on a long-range version of the Neptune missile system, which may be a separate project from the Hrim-2 operational and tactical missile system that was previously being developed. The Ukrainian defense industry is also actively involved in the development of two anti-aircraft missile systems.
