تدمير رادار روسي Nebo-SVU في منطقة زابوريججيا القريبة من ميليتوبول المحتلة على يد ضباط المخابرات العسكرية الأوكرانية.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, near occupied Melitopol, military counterintelligence officers from the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) successfully destroyed a Russian Nebo-SVU radar, according to journalist Mykhailo Tkach. The destruction of the radar was captured in a video that Tkach posted on his Telegram channel. The Russian radar was detected using a Shark unmanned aerial vehicle, with the journalist stating that the drone was able to adjust the missile near the object, ensuring it hit the target. The radar was destroyed using an M30A1 round fired from a HIMARS rocket system, as reported by Mykhailo Tkach. The exact geolocation of the radar was identified near the village of Kalynivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
This is not the first time that Nebo radars have been targeted. In May, Militarnyi reported on the destruction of Nebo-M near Luhansk, and in November 2023, the 55Zh6 Nebo radar in the Kursk region was also destroyed by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. Additionally, in September 2023, a Russian surveillance Nebo-U radar was hit by soldiers from the SSU’s Special Group “Alpha.” The Nebo family of radars is designed to detect, locate, and track air targets, including aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles, and small and stealthy aircraft at long ranges and altitudes. These radars were developed by the Russian military industry, originally launching back in the Soviet Union.
