Ukrainian attack drones targeted a Russian position in the Kherson region, striking a tropospheric communication station near Nova Kakhovka. The equipment that was destroyed belonged to the Russian 66th Communications Brigade, according to analysts from the Dosye_shpiona group. The attack, which occurred in July 2024, resulted in the destruction of the R-423 tropospheric communication station and a power supply station, possibly E-351. Two Russian soldiers were wounded in the strike.

The R-423 tropospheric communication station is used for direct communication over distances of at least 150 km, as well as for the construction of radio relay tropospheric communication lines. Meanwhile, the E-351 mobile power plant provides power supply to communication facilities and automation systems. The Ukrainian Defense Forces have been actively targeting Russian facilities on the left bank of the Dnipro River, deploying various weapons to achieve their objective. In March, they utilized guided bombs to destroy a Russian UAV control center.
