Luxembourg and Denmark have contributed network equipment and auxiliary licenses worth over €2 million to Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense reported that this equipment will strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Defense’s data centers and the Armed Forces cyber defense. The new equipment will improve the protection of Ukrainian networks and facilitate the implementation of information systems, according to Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Transformations, Digital Development, and Digitalization. In May, an IT Coalition led by Estonia and Luxembourg already provided the Ukrainian Armed Forces with laptops, monitors, and other communication equipment worth €900,000. The IT Coalition, which includes multiple countries such as the United Kingdom, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, and Luxembourg, has already donated over €5 million in aid to the IT infrastructure of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The IT Coalition focuses on providing support to Ukraine in the areas of IT, communications, and cybersecurity.
