عمليات تعدين عن بعد بواسطة الطائرات بدون طيار الأوكرانية في خلف خطوط الغزاة
The Ukrainian servicemen have been using drones to remotely mine tracks in the rear of the invaders, according to Militarnyi. These drones, such as the Ukrainian Vampire multi-rotor drone, are equipped with TM-62 anti-tank mines and can easily hang above the required place due to their large payload. Although these drones are susceptible to small arms fire and are easily spotted, they are primarily used in the dark to avoid detection. The anti-tank mines dropped from the drones can also be used as high-power bombs to destroy fortifications. The mines are equipped with electric detonators that turn on after a certain time and can last up to 14 days. The detonators are also equipped with a gyroscope, accelerometer, and magnetometer to prevent detonation due to proximity to metal objects or movement. The Ukrainian military monitors the invaders’ acoustic control posts along the front line to detect large drones and further destroy them with the help of other drones.
This remote mining tactic was showcased in a recent video by the soldiers of the “Pomsta” Brigade of the State Border Guard Service, where a BTR-82 armored personnel carrier was destroyed by mining. The operators of the UAV brigade of border guards used the Vampire multicopter with thermal imaging optics to drop the TM-62 anti-tank mine. The invaders set up acoustic control posts to detect drones and notify their forces of the threat. However, the Ukrainian military is aware of this and monitors the invaders’ control posts for further destruction.
