The Ukrainian servicemen have been using drones to remotely mine tracks in the rear of the invaders, according to Militarnyi. The detonators are also equipped with a gyroscope, accelerometer, and magnetometer to prevent detonation due to proximity to metal objects or movement. The Ukrainian military monitors the invaders’ acoustic control posts along the front line to detect large drones and further destroy them with the help of other drones.

This remote mining tactic was showcased in a recent video by the soldiers of the “Pomsta” Brigade of the State Border Guard Service, where a BTR-82 armored personnel carrier was destroyed by mining. The operators of the UAV brigade of border guards used the Vampire multicopter with thermal imaging optics to drop the TM-62 anti-tank mine. The invaders set up acoustic control posts to detect drones and notify their forces of the threat. However, the Ukrainian military is aware of this and monitors the invaders’ control posts for further destruction.
